The Protected Designation of Origin

 

 

The bouchot mussels of the Bay of Mont Saint Michel is distinguished by a PDO : Protected Designation of Origin. The season start in July and end in January / February. The PDO is a guarantee on the origin , quality , controls , traceability and security.
